Limestone

Limestone is an excellent building stone because it can be carved easily. It can be polished to a high gloss finish, but is more commonly known for its honed (matte), tumbled (antique or acid washed) and natural (split face or rough) finishes, typically in more neutral tones. Limestone is most commonly used for flooring (interior and exterior), wall cladding, vanity tops, furniture, and many times, ornate stonework. Totally, Limestone is ideal for today’s more casual and comfortable environments, its beige and tan colors suitable for bathrooms, fireplaces, counters and floors.

Iran limestone is highly resistant to heat and water. It is used to beautify the driveways, swimming pool areas and other exterior parts of the house. Gohera Limestone also known as Gohara Beige is consists of calcite. It does not show much graining or crystalline structure. It has a smooth granular surface.
